Propaganda Arise

Due to the upcoming presidential elections, the liberal media has ramped up its propaganda machine, and is spewing forth its lies and deceptions at an increased rate. With the internet now accessible to many loyal Americans, this Committee for the Constitution would encourage all those loyal to the original intention of the Constitution to share our publications and archives with all your friends via eMail.

The purpose of this communication is to suggest that misinformation can arise from each opposing camp in this war for truth and justice. Though the example cited below, now being circulated on the internet, is a harmless incorrect attribution to Jay Leno, it points to the attempt to give credibility to propaganda by associating it with some celebrity or sports figure, etc. Perhaps the least credible, might be politicians or their campaign staff, who always say what people want to hear. With notoriety, we see many influenced by those who have absolutely no clue as to the validity or truth, scientific or historical, to causes they endorse.

The best current example is the issue of "global warming" relative to its cause and assumed remedy. Needless to say, there are, unquestionably, variances in climatic conditions, but to say that "greenhouse" gas, i.e. CO2, emissions are the cause, or that eliminating them is a solution is scientifically ludicrous! First, over 70+% of CO2 is converted by plankton into O2, and, as in all chemical processes, increasing temperature increases the rate of conversion. So, cutting down the rainforests, or other baseless environmentalist proposals lack scientific credibility, regardless of who is on their bandwagon. Secondly, chemically loading a process on one side drives the system oppositely. Needless to say, according to the soon to be published Beyond Reason, by the author of The Attack on America, which we cite frequently in our articles; this is pure, unfounded propaganda, arising from the same failed, human, inventive mind that consistently perverts truth according to what it wants to believe.

At the end of Craig Smith's article, we include a quote from Mr. Leno, which is very relative to another point made in Beyond Reason, which we have been given the privilege to preview. That point is, paraphrasing: "It is significant that throughout history, humanity has always attempted to convince itself that it is in control of its environment. Be it death and dying or health, weather, or individual freedom, there is an absolute of immutable Law which gives order to matter, energy, time, space, and even the abstract and undefinable. Human behavior and emotion are the same in the Amazon, China, deepest Africa, or the U.S. Only time, circumstances, and perceptions change, regardless of whether any people or society comprehend, acknowledge, or want to accept the reality serving as the foundation of the Constitution."

Made in the USA: Spoiled brats
By Craig R. Smith © 2008
November 20, 2006

The other day I was reading Newsweek magazine and came across some poll data, I found rather hard to believe. It must be true given the source, right? The same magazine that employs Michael (Qurans in the toilets at Gitmo) Isikoff. Here I promised myself this week I would be nice, and I start off in this way. Oh, what a mean man I am.

The Newsweek poll alleges that 67 percent of Americans are unhappy with the direction the country is headed, and 69 percent of the country is unhappy with the performance of the president. In essence 2/3s of the citizenry just ain't happy and want a change.

So being the knuckle dragger I am, I starting thinking, ''What we are so unhappy about?''

Is it that we have electricity and running water 24 hours a day, 7 days a week? Is our unhappiness the result of having air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter? Could it be that 95.4 percent of these unhappy folks have a job? Maybe it is the ability to walk into a grocery store at any time and see more food in moments than Darfur has seen in the last year?

Maybe it is the ability to drive from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean without having to present identification papers as we move through each state? Or possibly the hundreds of clean and safe motels we would find along the way that can provide temporary shelter? I guess having thousands of restaurants with varying cuisine from around the world is just not good enough. Or could it be that when we wreck our car, emergency workers show up and provide services to help all involved. Whether you are rich or poor they treat your wounds and even, if necessary, send a helicopter to take you to the hospital.

Perhaps you are one of the 70 percent of Americans who own a home, you may be upset with knowing that in the unfortunate case of having a fire, a group of trained firefighters will appear in moments and use top notch equipment to extinguish the flames thus saving you, your family and your belongings. Or if, while at home watching one of your many flat screen TVs, a burglar or prowler intrudes; an officer equipped with a gun and a bullet-proof vest will come to defend you and your family against attack or loss. This all in the backdrop of a neighborhood free of bombs or militias raping and pillaging the residents. Neighborhoods where 90 percent of teenagers own cell phones and computers.

How about the complete religious, social and political freedoms we enjoy that are the envy of everyone in the world? Maybe that is what has 67 percent of you folks unhappy.

Fact is, we are the largest group of ungrateful, spoiled brats the world has ever seen. No wonder the world loves the U.S. yet has a great disdain for its citizens. They see us for what we are. The most blessed people in the world who do nothing but complain about what we don't have and what we hate about the country instead of thanking the good Lord we live here.

I know, I know. What about the president who took us into war and has no plan to get us out? The president who has a measly 31 percent approval rating? Is this the same president who guided the nation in the dark days after 9/11? The president that cut taxes to bring an economy out of recession? Could this be the same guy who has been called every name in the book for succeeding in keeping all the spoiled brats safe from terrorist attacks? The commander in chief of an all-volunteer army that is out there defending you and me?

Make no mistake about it. The troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have volunteered to serve, and in many cases have died for your freedom. There is currently no draft in this country. They didn't have to go. They are able to refuse to go and end up with either a ''general'' discharge, an ''other than honorable'' discharge or, worst case scenario, a ''dishonorable'' discharge after a few days in the brig.

So why then the flat out discontentment in the minds of 69 percent of Americans? Say what you want but I blame it on the media. If it bleeds it leads and they specialize in bad news. Everybody will watch a car crash with blood and guts. How many will watch kids selling lemonade at the corner? The media knows this and media outlets are for-profit corporations. They offer what sells. Just ask why they are going to allow a murderer like O.J. Simpson to write a book and do a TV special about how he didn't kill his wife but if he did … insane!

Stop buying the negative venom you are fed everyday by the media. Shut off the TV, burn Newsweek, and use the New York Times for the bottom of your bird cage. Then start being grateful for all we have as a country. There is exponentially more good than bad.

I close with one of my favorite quotes from B.C. Forbes in 1953:

''What have Americans to be thankful for? More than any other people on the earth, we enjoy complete religious freedom, political freedom, social freedom. Our liberties are sacredly safeguarded by the Constitution of the United States, 'the most wonderful work ever struck off at a given time by the brain and purpose of man.' Yes, we Americans of today have been bequeathed a noble heritage. Let us pray that we may hand it down unsullied to our children and theirs.''

I suggest this Thanksgiving we sit back and count our blessings for all we have. If we don't, what we have will be taken away. Then we will have to explain to future generations why we squandered such blessing and abundance. If we are not careful this generation will be known as the ''greediest and most ungrateful generation.'' A far cry from the proud Americans of the ''greatest generation'' who left us an untarnished legacy.

In September 2005, the U.S. was still devastated by the physical, emotional, and political fallout from Hurricane Katrina and other weather related disasters. At the time, a national debate was ongoing about the Pledge of Allegiance and the appropriateness of its reference to the U.S. as one Nation "under God." That month, comedian Jay Leno made humor of the emotional climate of America in one of his Tonight Show opening monologues:

"As you know Hurricane Rita is headed toward Florida, Texas and Louisiana. Another hurricane! It's like the ninth hurricane this season. Maybe this is not a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance."

An Old Newness

The issue is whether we want to elect a black president so badly that we are willing to overlook the issues, and what values, standards, and ideals that person holds.

An Old Newness
By Thomas Sowell
April 29, 2008

Many years ago, a great hitter named Paul Waner was nearing the end of his long career. He entered a ballgame with 2,999 hits, one hit away from the landmark total of 3,000, which so many hitters want to reach, but which relatively few actually do reach.

Waner hit a ball that the fielder did not handle cleanly but the official scorer called it a hit, making it Waner's 3,000th. Paul Waner then sent word to the official scorer that he did not want that questionable hit to be the one that put him over the top.

The official scorer reversed himself and called it an error. Later Paul Waner got a clean hit for number 3,000.

What reminded me of this is the great fervor that many seem to feel over the prospect of the first black President of the United States .

No doubt it is only a matter of time before there is a black president, just as it was only a matter of time before Paul Waner got his 3,000th hit. The issue is whether we want to reach that landmark so badly that we are willing to overlook how questionably that landmark is reached.

Paul Waner had too much pride to accept a scratch hit. Choosing a President of the United States is a lot more momentous than a baseball record. We the voters need to have far more concern about who we put in that office that holds the destiny of a nation and of generations yet unborn.

There is no reason why someone as arrogant, foolishly clever and ultimately dangerous as Barack Obama should become president, especially not at a time when the threat of international terrorists with nuclear weapons looms over 300 million Americans.

Many people seem to regard elections as occasions for venting emotions, like cheering for your favorite team or choosing a Homecoming Queen.

The three leading candidates for their party's nomination are being discussed in terms of their demographics, race, sex and age, as if that is what the job is about.

One of the painful aspects of studying great catastrophes of the past is discovering how many times people were preoccupied with trivialities when they were teetering on the edge of doom. The demographics of the presidency are far less important than the momentous weight of responsibility that office carries.

Just the power to nominate federal judges to trial courts and appellate courts across the country, including the Supreme Court, can have an enormous impact for decades to come.(emphasis added by the CftC)  There is no point feeling outraged by things done by federal judges, if you vote on the basis of emotion for those who appoint them.

Barack Obama has already indicated that he wants judges who make social policy instead of just applying the law. He has already tried to stop young violent criminals from being tried as adults.

Although Senator Obama has presented himself as the candidate of new things, using the mantra of "change" endlessly, the cold fact is that virtually everything he says about domestic policy is straight out of the 1960s and virtually everything he says about foreign policy is straight out of the 1930s.

Protecting criminals, attacking business, increasing government spending, promoting a sense of envy and grievance, raising taxes on people who are productive and subsidizing those who are not; all this is a re-run of the 1960s.

We paid a terrible price for such 1960s notions in the years that followed, in the form of soaring crime rates, double-digit inflation and double-digit unemployment. During the 1960s, ghettoes across the countries were ravaged by riots from which many have not fully recovered to this day.

The violence and destruction were concentrated not where there was the greatest poverty or injustice but where there were the most liberal politicians, promoting grievances and hamstringing the police.

Internationally, the approach that Senator Obama proposes, including the media magic of meetings between heads of state, was tried during the 1930s. That approach, in the name of peace, is what led to the most catastrophic war in human history.

Everything seems new to those too young to remember the old and too ignorant of history to have heard about it.

Islam – More Than A Religious Cult

Islam is not a religion, nor is it a cult. In its completed, intended form, it is an all encompassing system of life. Originally conceived by an illiterate thief, his followers plagiarized the religious and theological works of the time to establish a political opposition to the societies in the Mid-East of the sixth century. Dominated by primarily European and Asian influences, the nomadic Arabic peoples were drawn to the political organization which offered them economic opportunity to be gained by the force of arms. Islam has legal, political, economic, social, and military components. The religious component is a camouflaging capsule for all of its other entities.

Islamization of a society begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for discriminatory religious privileges. When politically correct, tolerant, and culturally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious privileges, some of the other manifestations tend to infiltrate, eroding and contaminating the culture.
Here's how history validates the progression:

As long as the Muslim population remains around or under
2%
in any given country, they will be for the most part be
regarded as a peace-loving minority, and not as a threat to
other citizens. This is the case in:
United States — Muslim 0.6%
Australia — Muslim 1.5%
Canada — Muslim 1.9%
China — Muslim 1.8%
Italy — Muslim 1.5%
Norway — Muslim 1.8%
At 2% to 5%, they begin to proselytize among other ethnic minorities
and disaffected groups, often with major recruiting from the
jails and among street gangs. This is happening in:
Denmark — Muslim 2%
Germany — Muslim 3.7%
United Kingdom — Muslim 2.7%
Spain — Muslim 4%
Thailand — Muslim 4.6%
From 5% on, they exercise an inordinate influence in
proportion to their percentage of the population.
For example, they will push for the introduction of halal
(clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food
preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase
pressure on supermarket chains to feature halal on their
shelves – along with threats for failure to comply.

At this point, they will work to get the ruling government
to allow them to rule themselves (within their ghettos)
under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of
Islamists is to establish Sharia law over the entire world.
This is
occurring in:
France — Muslim 8%
Philippines — Muslim 5%
Sweden — Muslim 5%
Switzerland — Muslim 4.3%
The Netherlands — Muslim 5.5%
Trinidad & Tobago — Muslim 5.8%
When Moslems approach 10% of the population, they tend to
increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions.
In Paris , we are already seeing car-burnings. Any non-Muslim action
offends Islam, and results in uprisings and threats, such as in
Amsterdam , with opposition to Mohammed cartoons and films about
Islam. Such tensions are seen daily, particularly in Muslim sections, in:

Guyana — Muslim 10%
India — Muslim 13.4%
Israel — Muslim 16%
Kenya — Muslim 10%
Russia — Muslim 15%
After reaching 20%, nations can expect hair-trigger rioting,
jihad militia formations, sporadic killings, and the burnings
of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues, such as in:
Ethiopia — Muslim 32.8%
At 40%, nations experience widespread massacres, chronic
terror attacks, and ongoing militia warfare, such as in:

Bosnia — Muslim 40%
Chad — Muslim 53.1%
Lebanon — Muslim 59.7%

From 60%, nations experience unfettered persecution of
non-believers of all other religions (including non-conforming
Muslims), sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of
Sharia law as a weapon, and Jizya, the tax placed on
infidels, such as in:
Albania — Muslim 70%
Malaysia — Muslim 60.4%
Qatar — Muslim 77.5%
Sudan — Muslim 70%

After 80%, there is daily intimidation and violent jihad, some
state-run ethnic cleansing, and even some genocide, as
these nations drive out the infidels, and move toward 100%
Islam. This has been experienced and is on-going in:

Bangladesh — Muslim 83%
Egypt — Muslim 90%
Gaza — Muslim 98.7%
Indonesia — Muslim 86.1%
Iran — Muslim 98%
Iraq — Muslim 97%
Jordan — Muslim 92%
Morocco — Muslim 98.7%
Pakistan — Muslim 97%
Palestine — Muslim 99%
Syria — Muslim 90%
Tajikistan — Muslim 90%
Turkey — Muslim 99.8%
United Arab Emirates — Muslim 96%

100% supposedly ushers in the peace of 'Dar-es-Salaam' –
the Islamic House of Peace. There is supposed to be
peace, because everybody is a Muslim, the madrasses
are the only schools, and the Koran is the only word,
such as in:
Afghanistan — Muslim 100%
Saudi Arabia — Muslim 100%
Somalia — Muslim 100%
Yemen — Muslim 100%
Unfortunately, peace is never achieved! As in the 100% states above, the most radical Muslims intimidate, spew hatred, violate women and children, and satisfy their blood lust by killing less radical Muslims, using rationalizations and corruptions of every basic human decency. Whether in mutilating women or raping young boys, they invoke the name of religion for authority. One only need to recall the killing of innocent female children in Saudi Arabia by religious police, or the atrocities of the Taliban in order to realize that we are in a war where our enemies do not fight by the rules governing civilized nations.

"Before I was nine I had learned the basic canon of Arab life.
It was me against my brother; me and my brother against our father;
my family against my cousins and the clan; the clan against the tribe;
the tribe against the world, and all of us against the infidel." – Leon Uris, 'The Haj'
In some countries with relatively small minority Moslem populations, such as France (8%), these minority Moslem populations live in ghettos. Within these 100% Islamic communities, they live by Sharia law. Police do not even enter these ghettos. There are no national courts holding them accountable to the societies they seek to change to their false and corrupt ideologies. Schools are Islamic, and their are no non-Muslim religious facilities. In these enclaves of injustice and religious totalitarianism, Muslims do not integrate into the community at large. Their is absolutely no intention to assimilate into the cultures that afforded them economic opportunities not to be found when Islamic theocracies rule. The children attend madrasses. They learn only the Koran, and the evil of Islam. To even associate with an infidel is a crime punishable with death. In some areas of certain nations, such as Iran, Imams and extremists exercise more power than the majority.

Today's 1.5 billion Muslims make up 22% of the world's population. Because their birth rates dwarf the birth rates of Christians, Hindus, Buddists, Jews, and all other believers, Muslims will exceed 50% of the world's population by the end of this century. Clearly, able only to dominate by injustice and force, the potential for these purveyors of evil to overcome democracies is real unless it is resisted by citizens loyal to an absolute of law embraced by the men and women who gave birth to this "one Nation, under God, . . . dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal". From The Attack on America, "tolerance is the enemy of justice", and righteous people everywhere must be intolerant of injustice, regardless of religious or political trappings. Freedom is never free!

In closing, we want to add these facts which are very relevant to the expansion of Islam in Africa:

A presidential candidate's cousin, Raila Odinga continues to fuel the first, mass, widespread violence in Kenya in years, attempting to overturn a legitimate election in 2007. Kenya's current government is pro-American, but Odinga wants to overthrow it and establish Islamic Sharia law. Obama's half-brother, Abongo Obama, is Odinga's follower. It is a matter of public record that Obama interrupted his New Hampshire campaigning to speak to Odinga on the phone. When Odinga lost the elections, his followers burned Christians' homes, and then burned men, women and children alive in a Christian church where they took shelter. Obama had supported his cousin even before the failed election attempt.

Kristoff, from the New York Times, a year ago, reported that Obama recalled the opening lines of the Islamic call to prayer, reciting them with a very good native accent. In a remark that seemed spontaneous, Obama described the call to prayer as "one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset."

The final straw, contrary to Washington's warning against "foreign alliances" comes with Obama's sponsorship of Senate bill S.2433, which could, according to some conservative sources, eventually force U.S. taxpayers to fork over as much as 0.7 percent of our nation's GDP, or $845,000,000,000.00 in welfare to third-world countries.

Change – For Better or Worse?

The Framers instituted a change in a political system that forever gave all the downtrodden and oppressed peoples of the world hope that a humanity, "relying on divine Providence", and obedient to the Creator of all immutable law, could overcome evil and injustice.

Change – For Better or Worse?

The Framers instituted a change in a political system that forever gave all the downtrodden and oppressed peoples of the world hope that a humanity, "relying on divine Providence", and obedient to the Creator of all immutable law, could overcome evil and injustice. The only requirement, derived from their Christian Biblical worldview, was, that for any political system to succeed, justice for all must arise from the hearts of a righteous majority willing to sacrifice for others,  just as each of those comprising that same majority would trust that others within it would care for and be responsible for their interests as well.

Brokers of political power have a strategy of latching their liberal candidates for political office, at every level of government, onto the tails of more prominent candidates. This is no more evident than in the upcoming presidential race. The real focus for every American loyal to the original intention of the Constitution should be on the issues, not on the personalities or charisma of those seeking power. Matters of national defense; energy supply and conservation; preservation of American industry and jobs; strengthening and protection of Social Security retirement; water conservation and irrigation initiatives; ending judicial activism; upholding and enforcing our laws – "justice for all"; judicial system administration and penal reform; truth and excellence in education; abolition of discrimination in every form; ending welfare for any able to work; healthcare funding and malpractice reform; etc. should be on the platform of any person seeking election in this land of the free!

We are in a war where our enemies, foreign and domestic, whether disguised in the black and evil robes of judicial activism; concealed behind the smiles and glad hands of those seeking our money in taxes to bribe those on welfare or entitlements, or dispensing it in "pork barrel" legislation; or in the dress of horribly unjust religious fundamentalism, seek to obliterate the positive change brought about by the brave men and women on these shores over two hundred years ago.

The only change capable of saving America is a return to the original intention of the Constitution!

The following was sent to the CftC:

                        THANK YOU

The OPEC minister may not look you in the eye and say,
'We are at war with you infidels and have been since
the embargo in the 1970s. You are so arrogant you
haven't even recognized it. You have more missiles,
bombs, and technology; so we are fighting with the
best weapon we have and extracting on a net basis
about $700 billion/year out of your economy. We will
destroy you! Death to the infidels!

While I am here, I would like to thank you for the
following: Not developing your 250-300 year supply of oil
shale and tar sands. We know if you did this, it
would create thousands of jobs for U.S. citizens,
expand your engineering capabilities, and keep the
wealth in the U.S. instead of sending it to us to
finance our war against you infidels.

Thanks for limiting Defense Dept. purchases of
oil sands from your neighbors to the north. We love
it when you confuse your allies.

Thanks for over regulating every segment of your
economy and thus delaying, by decades, the
development of alternate fuel technologies.

Thanks for limiting drilling off your coasts, in
Alaska , and anywhere there is an insect, bird, fish, or
plant that might be inconvenienced. Better that your
people suffer. Glad to see our lobbying efforts have
been so effective.

Corn based ethanol. Praise Allah for this sham
program! Perhaps you will destroy yourself from the
inside with theses types of policies This is a gift
from Allah, praise his name! We never would have
thought of this one! This is better than when you
pay your farmers NOT TO GROW FOOD. Have them use
more energy to create less energy, and
simultaneously drive up food prices.
Thank you U.S. Congress!

And finally, we appreciate you letting us fleece
you without end. You will be glad to know we have
been accumulating shares in your banks, real estate,
and publicly held companies. We also finance a good
portion of your debt and now manipulate your
markets, currency, and economies for our benefit.

THANK YOU AMERICA !'
